Just been kickin' around through the various threads...

each year the bar gets raised higher, and looks to be met. A lot of great looking pirates, and better yet, everyone seems to have had a blast.

I could only hope to get out there one year to finally meet everyone....

Thanks for sharing your pics and stories, it soothes the wounds of not being able to participate...... a little.

You would be more than welcome. You have such a distance to travel that alone would likely be a strain. Aye, we would find/make a place for you! As to lodging you could sleep on a table in the Hide if that is what it takes to get you there!

I second Capt Sterling. And, yes, this exceeded my expectations as well. Three years ago there were three tents and four pyrates camping at the fort. This year there were 29 tents, not counting flies and the Hide, and somewhere around 100 pyrates. Have we become the largest gathering of "authentic" pyrates in the world? Well if not this year then surely next...
