It was about this time last year, son #2 found my Imperial Guard helmet, and suddenly wanted to play dress-ups. So we came up with this impromptu costume.

Let me know when he turns 18, we'll get him signed up for the 501st Stormtrooper Legion.

Great costumes, everyone. I agree that the royal baby is the hands-down winner. Although Rumba's peacock dress is outstanding. :D

Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie.

Rumors of my death are entirely premature.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall when Liam is grown, brings home his fiance to meet the parents, and mom whips out the Mini-Me King Henry VIII pic. :D Classic!

...schooners, islands, and maroons

and buccaneers and buried gold...

You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott.

Thanks Brig!

I think the only part of that costume I really hated (Besides my molting fur) was the door wreath on my head. Somehow it had gotten broken on the inside, so it was like putting splinters into my scalp each night. When we tried to fix it, it got worse, so I just grinned and bared it.
