Gentleman of Fortune Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) Ahoy As stated earlier, I sold the bulk of my remaining shoe buckle stock to Taylor Rose Historical Outfitters. I have just a few left that I am saving for "emergencies" More information HERE GoF Edited January 13, 2009 by Gentleman of Fortune Come aboard my pirate re-enacting site http://www.gentlemenoffortune.com/ Where you will find lots of information on building your authentic Pirate Impression!
Mary Diamond Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I can vouch for these buckles ~ I personally purchased a set of each. The silver buckles are simply glorious, with a beautiful shine. The brass are rich and warm, and, IMHO, are nicer than the ones I received with my Loyalist order. These are the ones I wear for 'everyday' use, reserving the silver for special occaisions. Oooh, shiny!

Capt. Sterling Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 These buckles are fantastic...I have three pairs... "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
michaelsbagley Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 These buckles are fantastic...I have three pairs... Just received mine yesterday.... I ordered two of the brass and one in silver, and they are awesome! Now if I can only get some shoes to add them too... Or maybe I should pay Haunting Lily to steel me some shoes, she's really goood at that!
Gentleman of Fortune Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 (edited) I have but a few left, which I am saving. See Taylor Rose Historical Outfitters for Silver Buckles, I sold my remaining stock to them (except for a few pairs of each for emergency) GoF Edited January 13, 2009 by Gentleman of Fortune Come aboard my pirate re-enacting site http://www.gentlemenoffortune.com/ Where you will find lots of information on building your authentic Pirate Impression!
