I have a vague memory but I think I heard mention about Maddogge needing help holding his breeches up at least once, something about almost pant'sing himself out on the field.

I don't think I'd be following Maddogges example where buttons are concerned, sir, if said pantsing was to happen mid battle it would be far too unfair to the other gents standing on the firing line.

Oh that's right, he nearly lost his and wanted the lads to lend a hand hauling them back up into place... like that would ever happen...

Finally made it home safe and sound. A few delays but all in all it was an uneventful trip home. Edward is closing in on PA to spend the night at his brothers house and pick up Sophie. He should be home tomorrow afternoon.

Love and Hugs to you all. I miss you guys terribly.

Just as an update, the Callahans also are running a few days behind. They were at our place yesterday afternoon then headed towards Jacksonville last night...and were hoping to make it to Tennessee before the night was out (my bet is they were still in Jacksonville) They should make it back home today or tomorrow.....

hi all,

this was my very first PIP, and oh what wild time it was.

i made it home last week but promptly became pretty sick (nothing to do with PIP).

slowly getting better, more testing needed but will be fine in the end.

any way i wanted to thank Fayma & Tony for allowing me to join their crewe.

also thank you to Rustynell and Crispy for being so welcoming and accepting.

of course Harry for providing the camping spot in front of his home.

braze, oh braze, what a big beautiful man you are---introduced me to black powder by allowing me to fire his BLUNDERBUSS

What an honor it was---It F..... rocked.

bawdy be what a special lady you are.

of course the most famous pyrate of all ---NO RUM CHARLIE what a cutie.

there are so many others to remember. Thank you all for a wonderful time!

one thing i can say for sure is next year here i come!!!!!!!!

Lots of people were sick after PiP. It was the style at the time.

Actually, I've found that after any large project I've been involved in and spent loads of time doing, I've often gotten sick. You stave it off for the duration of the event (like Haunted House for example) and then it knocks you flat once the adrenalin resumes normal speeds.

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

I have had the same experience with theater productions. Go, go, go for a month or so then CRASH!

Except vocal performances. I use to drive the directors nuts. I would get laryngitis about a week before the opening performance. lol

I seemed to miss the Crude. Usually I catch something at a large event. I guess I can chalk that up to good, clean living, Vit C and Multi Vitamin regement and plenty of rest during the festival. No wonder I missed so much. (Animal makes a mental note: sleep less and play more).

There are so many people we'd like to thank, and so many memories, it is hard to narrow down. I just can't believe it all went so fast! I can't begin to say how much our Pirate Family means to us. It is all about you!! So far Tony has processed about 6000 pictures, and what a beautiful lot o' pirates ye be. Should be able to have them online soon, hopefully by the end of the week. We miss you all already, and can't wait to see ye all.
