Yer Musical Inclinations... What be they?

My musical inclinations...

Are more ambitious than I have time to live up to.

I do play, and take weekly lessons on violin (fiddle).

I have a mandolin and mandola, I can strum some basic chords on the mandolin, and mostly use it to help with my musicianship on violin (the two instruments have the same scale/range/string, except mandolins have double courses).

I also have a 12-string and 6-string ekectric guitar... although I am likely weakest on these two instruments of all the ones I have.

I would love to see updates to this, so if you're considering taking up an instrument, whether you have a natural talent for it or not...PLEASE DO.  Expand and explore new things.  I love live music at events.  Even people that are just starting out, I don't mind if you're a novice.  We need more live music!

Still practicing the tin whistle, only very gradually adding new songs. Irish Washerwoman just added to the more recently learned Health to the Company and Mingulay Boat Song.

I reminded my son to keep practicing with his Viola. We have a couple events this year and he could be in high demand!

I am happy to learn songs as requested - there is so much out there, I frequently suffer from paralysis of decision.
