Escondido Renaissance Faire With a pirate flair!

Recommended Posts

It's that time again for the annual fall Escondido Faire, where pirates mingle with Tudors.

If you've never been to this event, it's great with lots of shady trees, big ale garden, a variety of vendors and acts on stages and of course Pirate Cove where all of us pirate people are.

For more information go to: Escondido Faire

So will you be there? I will!

Of course I go to this one, it's right near me (7 minutes by surface streets) and it's really nice!

**When I move to San Marcos in a few weeks it will be about 10 minutes or less via the 78 freeway.

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

I am working on a few new period eating sets for this show. I sell through Age of Chivalry out there. If you get a chance stop in and ask for the new wolf eating sets. Knife and 2 prong fork.

Lad,

Return to the ship at once! It will take a full broadside just to slow er down! By God, I'd rather face a Kraken than be in her way. Tis many a sailor meet his doom that choose otherwise!

Quickly now, I think she may be on er way!

Why am I sharing my opinion? Because I am a special snowflake who has an opinion of such import that it must be shared and because people really care what I think!

LOL! Aye, I think the last poor bloke to meet his doom is now riding on the prow of her scooter — naught left but bones! :D

and buccaneers and buried gold...

Yaaar! :D

I cannot attend this year. I'm building a haunted house on Friday and it usually runs late so I'll need half of Saturday to clean up and the other half to supply lights for a Cadillac commercial. Sunday I have the paranormal tour in the Queen Mary (spooky).

With all of this going on I can't drive out there but PLEASE take pictures and rub them in my face :D . This sounds like a horrible thing to do, but it will make me feel better to at least see some going ons.

Have fun non the less and I'll post some Halloween pictures in the beyond pyracy forum. Prepare for the Ghost of Jack Rackham!

We (Stranghlehold) Summarily executed Sponge Bob Square Pants.

The charges varied from being annoying to stealing a cucumber! eagh eagh..

We escorted him through the shire anouncing "MAKE WAY FOR THE PRISSONER"

on the way to the Archery range where he were tied to hay bails and filled with arrows..

Next year I think we will do the same to "BARNEY" that really annoying purple fella..

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. The pirates charles ARE a great band and I love to see them every chance I get. Wish I could have been there but work turned out to be a nightmare.

Lesson of the weekend.

Never be on set for a Cadillac commercial that should have used a budget of 100k instead of the 10k we had. That was a rough one, but non the less an interesting experience.

edit:

well I did mention in this thread that I would post a photo, so here it is. After 9 hours of building, I was bushed so I look pretty stupid eyed. =)
