Each time I see one of his 'first attempts' at a new project, I am astounded. It looks remarkable. If it's possible to be proud of someone else's work, then I am.

Very nice!

This is the second recreation of the backstaff that I've seen. One of our crew made one and we use at our demos.

If you don't mind, where did you get the designs to make the backstaff?

Chaos, panic, pandemonium - my work here is done.

He used the design from Latitude Hooks and Azimuth Rings by Dennis Fisher

Glad you all like it.

indeed she does!!! why folks should have seen the three of us the first day. all nervous and giddy like school girls waiting for a date to the maypole dance. we shot the noon sighting, did the math, ran the declination came up with a magic number and edward scampered off to his land yacht to confirm on the GPS. By golly, to the degree the results were. darned fine work!!!!
