Ach well, all I can say is more cannons are always a good thing. no labour, as of yet, though might be taking odds with Grace about when that joy begins. As to the gunny sacks aye those are avalible and am thinking on one for Hamish when the time comes; a wee hammock to keep him above the ants. the pictires are fantastic and I still have yet to see the ones we have to post, hopefully those will be up online soon. Matty Bottles
I need to ration my vacation days and my reenacting budget more intelligently. I always seem to miss the most incredible events. Of course, I miss most events, so there you go. "The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning." - Capt. That makes at least three of us *sniff*...I'll just go over here and drown myself in some rhum...If I look at all of the pictures while I'm drinkin' I might just dream I was there... I just have to start attending these things in the land of Blackbeard. What's a 16 hour drive, anyway... My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around... I really did ok on the way there, till we dropped off Rats and at that point we were looking at photos and the map and I just started feeling lousy and I missed an exit....and I feel bad! But we didn't go far off of track. I liked navigating....we had two GPS units going at the same time!
