I think using dog as a curse word would have to be used in a VERY extreme context nowadays. People throw around the word dog and use it far too loosely.....look at Randy Jackson Everyone is a dog to him.

How does one go about saying "dog"? it can't be the same as today's "yo, what up dawg"? Substitute the word "cur" with "dog". If you don't call enough people curs then you need to step it up.
