Iron Bess
Got some new plunder! Well, I will when they finish with some customizing. A new bracelet for the everyday Pirate in me! They are adding dark, sea-blue labradorite cabs into the eyes and a single black pearl into the embrace of one of the arms. I am RIGHT happy with this plunder! (and it feels heavy enough to kill someone if you swatted them with it in a pub brawl! Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman! Ransom
Ya know, the Pub really need a green-faced jealous smiley to use in situations like this. I think you need to wear that bracelet to Ojai, so we can all drool on it. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott. Iron Bess
Many thanks mate... he is quite the denizen isn’t he? I think what made me take the plunge and shell out all those dubloons was the amazing texturing on the entire piece. AND…. the tentacles’ run all the way along the arms, even underneath where they caress the wrist ( chuckle’n to m’self here…) Aye, a nice handy weapon 'tis make'n no mistake! . Hope Davy won’t want him back any time soon. Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman! 1stMate Matt
That is sweet, but if I were the smith doing this I would have to do a blue stone of some sort in each of the sucky cup things. -1st Mate of Pirates Magazine -Bladesmith/Owner of That Works Studio http://youtube.com/thatworks thatworks.shop
Iron Bess
That is sweet, but if I were the smith doing this I would have to do a blue stone of some sort in each of the sucky cup things. Well now, that would be grand fer some of course… but a bit too gaudy fer the likes of me. I am a plain-Jane sort and likes me do-dads with smaller flourishes. Fer what this be I think it suits me right well with just those small additions. And mate, with this being solid sterling, what would the cost be with arm load’s of good quality stones!
