Red Bess
I drive a Cutlass -- what else would a pirate drive? An '89 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme that I bought from a little old lady (my mother) who only drove it on long, cross-country road trips. It's got a lot of miles and a lot of rust. That's my car --for getting to work and back. Our family car is a 2000 Plymouth Voyager minivan. First car I ever owned '76 AMC Hornet Worst car I ever owned '79 (?) Ford Escort Best car I ever owned '88 Toyota Corolla Ladies in Scarlet: Piratical Art and Accessories
CaptainSatan
Picture of my 1979 CJ-5 That's not me driving. It's actor/stunt man Tom Zembrod. The young lady is an actress named Brittany Hack. Her dad has a leather jacket company called US Wings. As we say in Ireland let's drink until the alcohol in our system destroys our liver and kills us. William Blydes
Being that racing is my other passion (other than piracy/sword play) my family has allot of cars. My father has a 2000sqft garage. My daily driver now is a 02 Subaru WRX (World Rally blue of course). Lightly modified due to its mostly street use (stiffer springs/struts, bigger exhaust) My car at University was a 1969 Ford Cortina mk2. BRG with Lotus suspension. The engine was the standard Kent cross flow with a raging 86hp. With good tires I hardly ever had to use the brakes. My toy is a 1989 Toyota mk1 MR2 Supercharged. Heavily modified for the type of racing I do (very stiff springs, ajustable struts, ajustable custom swaybars, custom intake and exaust, ultra lightweight rims, race tires, race seats and belts) Right now we are playing with my Dad's car. He and my Mum raced a 1966 Lotus Cortina at the local, regional (provincial) and national level. We just finished a complete rebuild from the shell up. Only 2800 were ever made by Lotus, with only 250 coming to NorthAmerica The type of racing we do is called Auto Slalom. One car at a time on a course designated by traffic cones. Cars are grouped according to performace level and degree of preperation. So complete showroom stock cars compete in different classes from the same car prepared as a full stripped race car. My Mum was 3 times Canadian Ladies National champion in the 80's. Last year I won my class at the Ontario Region level in my MR2. We have 12 vehicles and 4 trailers between my father and I. The pic of my Dad's Lotus was taken this past weekend at an event. A fitting way to spend Father's Day, with my Dad at the track. William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Cheeky Actress
Sigh... I'm drive a 'soccer mom's' van. - 2005 Dodge Caravan - Silver. My DH drives a 2004 Dodge Ram quad-cab - Red. But before I got married I had some cool cars... First car I ever owned was a 1973 Orange Rag-Top VW Thing! Yup, and damn I loved it. It was a car that got you noticed and I would make it a habit on a Friday afternoon after class to drive around campus in the darn thing with a group of gals from my dorm in it. I would pop off the windows and door, put down the rag-top and go around Upstate New York (Oswego, Syracuse, Fulton, Dewitt, Cicero, Clay, Rochester...you name it)! ...yet, you'd see the Thing on the side of the road a lot too (especially on RT 81 and RT 690). It had a lot of issues...but I still loved it.... Member of "The Forsaken"
