Oooh..... it's not even an original idea!

I got a Ghost in a Bottle as a gift back in the 70's and it was far better in regards to look, concept and marketing. :unsure:

Gee...twenty bucks for a bottle and a certificate.

"Exactly what are you a doctor of, Mr. Venkman?"

"Well, I have a PhD in parapsychology and psychology."

"And now, you catch ghosts?"

"Yeah, you could say that."

"And how many ghosts have you caught, Mr. Venkman?"

"I'm not at liberty to say. "

With my luck mine would be a poltergeist, it would get out through some crack in th' seal and then my TV would only get snow and make crackling noises all night long e'en when turned off, then th' stink'n ghost hunter would charge me double to re-capture it again....probably using a toaster at that!

Y'all should read 'Expiration Date' by Tim Powers, if you haven't already. It's an interesting take on why you would capture a ghost in a bottle in the first place.

"The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning."

- Capt. Joshua Slocum

I once cracked open a bot'le o' rum, 'n when I pulled the cork there was a sudden rush o' cold air against me face! For th' rest o' th' night, with e'ery sip I took th' glass went down TWICE th' amount!! :unsure:

By th' end o' th' night I reach'd th' end o' th' bot'le when suddenly....a coin just appear in th' bottom o' th' bot'le, then when I turned it o'er to see th' coin a rolled parchment fell out it did! I thought "A map!!" but nay, when I read the parchment it say;

"Thanks fer the soul lad, see ye soon"
