Many miles to go! Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain, And the stream that flows from hill to plain. Better than rain or rippling brook, Is a mug of beer inside this Took! HEY! This wench never says no to a free grog... StichWitchJane, the pyrate with an education ph34r the l33t pyr4t3!

Blood in the scuppers tomorrow."Thrist is a shameless disease. So here's to a shameful cure!"Loyalty, honesty and directness are traits I admire. Insecurity, snipes and disrespect I will not tolerate in the least."

Calico Jack Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 Well, for miniature models, scale and level of detail are pretty important in the decision. They can range from high end [such as those at http://www.tallshipmodels.com/soldgallery.htm ] to pretty simple used for wargames [such as that at http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/library/pir...eship/index.asp ]. It really depends very much on what you are looking for. - Calico Jack
Shortshanks Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 My friend and I built a miniature boat. Pics are in my gallery.

He builds models of Admiralty Quality yet length on deck less than 2"! His work is remarkable. Since reading this forum I am going to see if I can find his models on line. I saw several works at the Museum Gallery at Mystic Seaport Museum.
