Cap'n Kisslin' Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I meant to post this up a long time ago, but I be the biggest procrastinator around, mates. So, I apologize for the late post. Anywho, on TLAPD I got my whole Starbucks crew into the fancy. It was loads of fun. My sister took the Starbucks logo and made a pirate version on poster board, and people brought in various items to wear (we went all out!) Here be a coupla' photos for ya. Most of our customers loved it and many played along with us. Ordering pastries, I'd ask, "Is this for here, or for the high seas?" And 'course I'd wish there day be full o' pirate swag as they left. I still have a couple customers that greet me in the drive-thru with, "Arrr"s! I can't wait for this year's TLAPD if it's anything like lasts. I was sailin' the high seas, 'round the Florida Keys. Trailin' that merchant ship, the one I'd catch and strip. For she had me swag, and flyin' an English flag.

Red Cat Jenny Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Great job Cap'n! This year be renamin a coffee in honor. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Cap'n Kisslin' Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 Thanks mates, it was a grand ol' time. I even got our "serious" guy into it and he nearly portrayed a better pirate than me. I was sailin' the high seas, 'round the Florida Keys. Trailin' that merchant ship, the one I'd catch and strip. For she had me swag, and flyin' an English flag.
