Wow Rumba! Nice! I have been to the botanical gardens in Phoenix. I used to live there (PHX) when it was still desert many years ago.

There are colors and shades of green you just don't see anywhere else. Also them lil critters lol. For dry places there are a lot of wee things living there. Glad you had fun while it's still tolerably warm B)

Beautiful! I wish I had luck with lupines here in Chicago, but, it is not to be so.

Rumba, you may want to check your camera for a Cloudy setting ~ it should help with the colors on semi-overcast days.

Very nice, Rumba. It brought back lots of memories. I was born in Riverside and lived there until 17 years ago. My family used to go on little picnics out in the Anza Borego desert during the Spring, when it was still cool enough to enjoy. Ah, tuna sandwiches, kool-aid, and oatmeal-raisin cookies. LOL

Thanks for sharing!

You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott.
