Iron Bess Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 We already have enough Jack Sparrows running around... Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!
Lady Alyx Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 I thought Jack's pants actually has some thin lines running through it and not a solid color? ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
hurricane Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 The coat is of the wrong material too. But I must agree with Iron Bess on this one. I ended up buying the Jack tombstone and put it on a hill in my yard. Dead and buried I says... a true Jack in the Box. -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. Rumba Rue Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I don't know anyone willing to shell out that kind of money for a Jack Sparrow whatever. Personally, most of the guys I've seen impersonating the character do it pretty bad, including not having the figure for it....
Nathaniel Cross Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 The tombstone is a real beauty mate. Wish I 'ad 'appened on the idea meself. But reckon says I, that each be thar own. Quartermaster James Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 LOL!!! Enough of Jack Sparrow... Now what about the adventures of that Barbarossa fellow?

Lady Alyx Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Heck here's the chance to make your own. Get out that concrete that sets fast make a mold in an aluminum pan. Just an idea folks! And about that costume, I have seen Jack impersonators sport better ones. till read ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
hurricane Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 That's a great idea. I used to make real primitive ones in the old days. The real ones would look so much more austere. Can others supply ones from the time period so we can replicate the look? I'm sharpening my chisels. :) -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. Nathaniel Cross Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Tis' a most excellent idea shipmates. Might have ta give it a try. And I too would like ta see more of ol' Hector Barbossa. I'd vote him Cap'n over Jack any ol' day. Suppose that be why the crew of the Black Pearl decided ta be goin' wif' Hector.
