Cheeky Actress Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 ... in '08 we're highlighting the ball . . . so wear your very best! Lilly quickly sits up and looks over at The Black Fox. My Word! Do Tell! Early Summer Ball. What colours are in Fashion this year? Rumors state it shall be pale hues...perhaps I shall drape myself in robin's egg blue. This is great news!" Lilly walks off muttering to herself. "What to wear...what to wear..." Member of "The Forsaken"
Cheeky Actress Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Lilly quickly turns.... "Well, I could wear this one thing?!" Pointing down at the Picture you see at her signature line... Member of "The Forsaken"
Capt. Sterling Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Then I'm wearing my mourning clothes... Cheeky Actress Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Oh no....that will not do, Captain. I'd rather see you don a shroud then! Member of "The Forsaken"
Capt. Sterling Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I can do that! I may have to hop all night "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... One of our older and dependable girls will be along for the event. Capt. Sterling Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Aye??? I be thinking we'll be there ready to set up on Thursday... the good captain said he would be sending some scenario info my way and if we can still get together for a sit down, we can do some plotting... Silkie McDonough Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Is anyone traveling to the Blackbeard festival passing within 100 miles or so of the Philadelphia PA/Collingswood NJ and looking to perhaps share the ride and gas expense? I can get the majority of my gear down there by other means if need be. PM me if you thing we can help each other.
Dutchman Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 capn' i understand it was a good conversation then? I'm off april 1/2. provided moms surgery goes ok, Grace and I would love to meet you for dinner one of those nights. Maybe we can find something between the two cities- if not, we'll head to mr Jeffersons town- no problems. Silkie, what day are you looking to head out- i'll keep my ears open for ya.
Silkie McDonough Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Silkie, what day are you looking to head out- i'll keep my ears open for ya. Thursday. I work until 8:30 AM Thursday morn.
Cheeky Actress Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I'll be flying in on Thrusday (Richmond) evening - late. Captain Sterling along with the snotties will be picking me up and driving me down there Thursday evening. When I mean late...it will be midnight. Member of "The Forsaken"
Capt. Sterling Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Silkie, what day are you looking to head out- i'll keep my ears open for ya. She best not get there afore me or she'll have no place to lay her head...snigger. We are planning on going to Williamsburg since J has never been and I haven't been since I was about 3.5 feet tall. Any suggestions on places to stay and eat near Williamsburg? We are planning on going to Williamsburg since J has never been and I haven't been since I was about 3.5 feet tall. Any suggestions on places to stay and eat near Williamsburg? if ye have the cash, make yerselves reservations for the King's Arms in Colonial Williamsburg...dinner menu is pretty good. Cheeky Actress Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Oh yes! Twas the best meal we had while we were down there. Everything on the menu which I purchased we great. The house keeps to seasonal fare. Did someone say, peanut soup?! Quite enjoyable with musicans and such. Member of "The Forsaken"
the Royaliste Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I'm not sure this far out from the date, but depending on the weather sailin' up the ICW, we could be in as early as Wednesday, ya just never know. If we are in port early, homeless vagrants that we recognise can usually rustle up deck space or something to kill time......I'm always behind in having enuff cannon loads made up, so it's a mad rush...
withoutaname Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Thank you Capitan Sterling and Cheeky. The hotel budget can't afford Williamsburg but the food budget certainly can get a meal at the place you mentioned. Maybe 2 meals. Between the peanut soup and some of their other items, I can't wait! Capt. Sterling Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Oi Dutchie, I'm thinking, since you have the days off and I don't...any chance of you making either the Timberwood Grill or China King say by 1:30pm for a late lunch? Both are right off of 29. I could meet you then...either day is fine for me. I would really like to go over some of the stuff I briefly discussed with Cap'n Pern regarding the operation of the docks with militia and such... our crewe has a new character that I think would be perfect to introduce during this bit.
