Dutchman Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 snicker* yeah that was an awesome ride!! wish someone had gotten a picture of that storm behind us- lantern bobbin and flag whippin around like that. I've never had the explorer moving so bloody fast! everyone did an amazing job turning to- of course we had a great incentive- SURVIVE! I have not seen a wind shear come up like that in a long time.

Dutchie offered me a spot on the fishing trip too . . . I always wanted to try fishing with "Grenados" Well this looks to be great fun... although I am none too sure of eating anything we might catch...still a good way to pass the time. Finances are tight as I am trying to buy a condo and the cost of flying/hotel/clothing etc is just looking to be prohibitive, alas.
