Misson Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 (This is why you need to keep a sharp eye on your kids!) Ok...does anyone mind if I use these photos to put together another Surgeon's Tale? Mary? Silkie? Cheeky? Micky and Kate...ie?Pm me if you're shy about telling ol' Mission what a hatchet job you think he does and you wouldn't let him near your work with a ten foot Oar posing as a tent pole. I won't be offended. Much. (Oh, per withoutaname's request, I am going to give photo creds on each pic this time. Sorry I didn't think to do it last time.) Capt. Sterling Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I have finally sat down and gathered the photos from this past weekend's wonderful event!!! Cheeky Actress' 2008 Blackbeard Album Enjoy! Wow the lighting on the three by the bridge (no taxes) looks great... I actually LIKE that picture of me. Now that is a first. Dutchman Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 for being an improv job- i think the taxation skit went rather well. by the end of it i thought capt sterling and his crew were going to be mobbed by angry gas tax protesters- heck all i wanted was to moor my craft and unload my goods. but it did sound good in the distance with guns going off under the bridge and echoing off buildings.
Iron Jon Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 They were likely mine. I left them, slops, a shirt, a pair of stockings, under clothes and a pair of rubber soled black suede shoes there. They were suppose to ship them to me. Perhaps I should call them to be sure they have been shipped. Anyone have the number? Nope, the ones they had were supposedly in my room and they were blue and white. Good cover on that one Mission! I was wondering how you were going to explain the appearance of Silkie's undergarments in your room... Silkie McDonough Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 We all shared a room or three. Mission feel free to use any of my photos. GAH! I miss all the camaraderie! I had a grand time! Now ...where to next? Pern, can I have a kiss?
Kate Souris Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 After the last few days I have had at work....I totally have been wishing I was there instead of here...heat and all.

It did take one back a bit, the crowd was bloody loud and then started insulting us as we passed. I rather enjoyed it as it gave one the chance to better imagine what folks went through during the beginnings of our war of Independence. Who ever got them pumped up on your side, did a brilliant job of it... I have some ideas of how to "grow" that scenario for next year, incorporating both the Harbor... oh wait, best not give it away... will pm you privately when I get back from Port Washington... hmmm I rather like be told I "smell like a French dog!" Well there are a few in between but the next big one that all of us can make with these folks will be Beaufort, NC. August 8,9, 10... be there or you will miss a swinging good time. Iron Jon Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Iron Jon, you were sorely missed. Hope you are feeling better! Next year... believe me this is one event you don't want to miss, especially a second time. Yes, I had planned on being there and it looks like I missed a good time from the pictures I've seen so far. Now it looks like I'm going to have a tough time getting to PiP this year too. I'm being sent to New Mexico for 11 months to teach at the academy. I'll have to arrange the time off for a trip to Key West well ahead of time to be able to make it there.
