Master Sully Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 So that there isn't any confusion, I've decided to change my name slightly, from Master Studley to Master Sully. I believe I acquired the name Studley several years ago (PiP 2003 with the Pyrates of the Coast) from the large amount of piercings "studs" I had in my face, as well as my love of picking up heavy things. Could also be my way with the women. Somtimes I get strange looks from clients. They aren't sure if they had booked a pirate or a pirate stripper because of the name. Anyway it's a fresh name for a fresh new year. Hello again to old friends and new ones as well, this round is on Sully! "Remember, on a pirate ship, in pirate waters, in a pirate world, ask no questions. Believe only what you see. No, believe half of what you see."... Burt Lancaster DUM SPIRO SPERO... hurricane Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 I think it was both - the stud on your chin and your way with women. William Brand Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Mister Sullivan Quint has a very good ring to it.
Master Sully Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 On a funny note, my girlfriend noticed that my name's abbreviation is S. Quint, and she always gets on me for squinting in my pictues. Thank's so much for your support! "Remember, on a pirate ship, in pirate waters, in a pirate world, ask no questions. Jacky Tar Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Funny... I was thinkin' Squint wasn't a bad pirate name either. Best o' luck wit' the name change, Master Sully.
Captain Midnight Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 That's a fine name, lad...Mr. Sullivan Quint...very quaint and nice-sounding. And I even like "Squint" for the nickname... "Now then, me bullies! Would you rather do the gallows dance, and hang in chains 'til the crows pluck your eyes from your rotten skulls? Or would you feel the roll of a stout ship beneath your feet again?" ---Captain William Kidd--- (1945)
Captain Jim Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Aye, tis a fine name to chose. You did well. Sullivan Quint sounds like a name. Studley sounds like a boast. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
