The crew of The Fool's Gold has been promoting Scurvy Awareness (the pirate way, of course) for the last couple of years at the Port Washington Pirate Festival. I'll see if i can't get my legislator to recognize it in the virginia house of deligates- they recognized take your kid surfing day last year. are there any hand outs or practical lesson plans?????
