Gentleman of Fortune Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Black John got me hooked on Order of the Stick a few months ago, and now I eagerly await each update. I have to admit though that I am not a big fan of Anime/Magna.... Maybe its just because I have been out of the comic book loop for almost two decades. I think that the "Watchmen" was the last comic/graphic novel I enthusiastically read. But I have been brushing up on my skills due to the Pirate Sketchbook coming round. Ransom Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I bookmarked Girl Genious where I left off. Got hooked for sure. I love the drawing style. Like GoF, I haven't really paid much attention to comics for a long time. I was a fan of Barry Windsor-Smith, Jeff Jones, and Berny Wrightson. I have signed prints and sketchbooks by Windsor-Smith. But these new graphic novels are so good, I may have to ck more of them out. Thanks for the links, everyone. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. blackjohn Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Black John got me hooked on Order of the Stick a few months ago, and now I eagerly await each update. It certainly plays to my geekside. It's just so D&D nerdy... half of the stuff strikes really way too close to home. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Rogue Mermaid Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Black John got me hooked on Order of the Stick a few months ago, and now I eagerly await each update. Oh no, you guys aren't addicted too?
