Capt. Sterling
"I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
William Brand
*As Captain Sterling walks by William says.*"Oh the things I could have done to you. Cut you, gut you and turned you into jerky pieces. And the things I could do with said pieces. Have a banquet in said pieces honor. And the joy I would have had serving said pieces. Yes that would be my ultimate revenge." I think there was more to it but I can't remember at this moment. But Willaim said it, in regards to you Cap'n......And I know he was just teasing. I said... "Oh the things I could have done to you when I had you in my clutches. What joy I should have had cutting you into very small pieces. And what joy I should have had making jerky of those pieces. And the things that I could have done with said pieces. Eating such pieces. Serving such pieces at a banquet in your honor. And what further joy I might have known passing the pieces afterwards." It's the last line that really sells it, I think.
Jack Roberts
But I believe the Capt'n retort was, that in said passing of pieces would be his final revenge.

William Brand
In the end, this is why I have Patrick on my side. He sidesteps all of the finery and frippery of courtly manners and finesse and goes straight to the heart of the matter with a cudgel. My man, Patrick. Willing to get his hands dirty. Ransom
Brilliant! Awesome job, Jack!Patrick: "Oh, well..." (Patrick is great! Anyone who has never met him really must.) Very funny! I think you guys were having WAY too much fun. LOL And yes, anyone who has the chance to meet Mr. Hand, should do so. A very fine pyrate, indeed. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. Misson
I want it noted that I did publicly negotiate your release. (Too bad, too, because I really wanted to try that amputation technique...cut through the outer layer of skin using the point and the inside blade, then flip the knife around with the point remaining beneath the skin. Run the point of the blade along the circumference of the arm being careful not to cut the first layer of muscle beneath...peel back the layer of skin...cut into the outer layer of muscle...hmm...Oh, we may stumble along the way, but-civilization, yes!...I think I could do it...gimme a chance...hey, Jim?) Not a chance in bloody Hades, mate. I once attended PiP soon after a close encounter with a veeerrry large alligator. I noted to William that pyracy is the only reenacting venue in which the loss of a limb is not necessarily detrimental to your character. Still I would rather have the amputation done by the eleven foot gator than to succumb to your ministrations. I'd stand a better chance of living through it. And Abbington? He doesn't use artificial anesthesia. Just the pain that makes you faint away. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around... Captain Jim
No, he bites it himself to keep from fainting at the sight of blood. And from gritting his teeth at the sound of the bone saw. That really gives him the willies. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
