hurricane Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 The Buccaneer's Realm has just been released. I got an advanced copy and it is a great read so far. It covers the period 1674-1688... the Golden Age of the Buccaneer if you will. Lots of information I hadn't seen anywhere else... If you remember his previous book, The Sea Rover's Practice, you know it will be good stuff. I readied my confession and the sobbing pleas not to tell my wife. But as I turned, no one was in the bed. The room was empty. The naked girl was gone, like magic." Pew Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Most excellent. , Skull and Quill Society , The Watch Dog "We are 21st Century people who play a game of dress-up and who spend a lot of time pissing and moaning about the rules of the game and whether other people are playing fair."
switters Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks for the heads up, the book has been ordered. Bloody amazon makes it too easy to get books , like a bookstore with a tab.
Will Fiddle Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Thanks to Hurricane, I will be spending more money on myself in the holiday season Your most and obliged humble servant, William Dezoma
switters Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 If you are already familiar with Dampier and Exquemelin, you may not find a lot of new material in Mr. Littles latest tome. I'm halfway through, perhaps there is more yet to discover.
