Although you may not know who I am I'd like to take this oppurtunity to introduce myself. My name is David Trevino, I am the proud husband of my wonderful wife Kim Trevino "aka" Black Syren. I normally wouldn't post on your admirable site however, I just couldn't resist the chance to extend my most deep and sincere thanks for all that you have done. I have had the honor to chat with some of Kim's friends and all I can say is "You all are truly wonderful people" I would also like to add that I would never have thought that friends that my wife so dearly loves and has never met would ever go out of your way to help our family. Indeed we are going through some tough times and continue to search out our options I really want to thank you for your words of kindness, support, love, and the actions that you have taken upon yourself it is priceless! I hope that by my next statement it will not offend any of you but, I do believe that you all are a God Send however, Kim insists that you are all "angels in disguise". I never would have thought that people would ever EVEN give us any kind of help the way you have done. Thank You for your friendship, support, love and prayers. I will keep you all in my heart and prayers. I can only hope that one day I'll be blessed to share the same support to you or another person. Inspired by all that you have done.... I respect their choices and they mine, and I am never offended when some one holds me up in prayer. Merrydeath Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 Lady B has moved in (temp) with her family in southern Iowa, since she did get moved out this weekend from her apartment. We made sure her weapons were in boxes, as were all her finery and tinware, tentage and furniture, sewing, clothes, crafts, and boxes. She had a truckload to move, but with her mom and step-dad to help, she got it all moved out in time. They were focused on getting her out so no more repercussions about her apartment, supplied the truck and manpower.. I wasn't as much help as I wanted to be, my shoulder is still on the mend. I did manage to drag a few of her boxes into the hall for the truck. Luckily she didnt get any of the flood waters anywhere near her, so she didnt have anything moldy to get rid of. That is a disaster in itself. The allergies have been horrible this year.. She did get to keep most of her things, and not sell them, tho and hopes to have a job by Spring so she can get her own place. anyway, she's doing ok, if a bit flustered. send her some good thoughts. They had a special on the 10pm news about someone giving people who helped others $5000 each. One man was going to lose his house, this will pay the taxes and help him keep it. He went back over and over again to rescue animals and people in his boat. So many people lost everything.... its common for people to have to move around CR. Now that its getting cold, they are finding out if the insulation is ok and the furnace runs. What a summer! Syren, you can call Lady B for her address.
