Rats, Matty is here and planning to go - with a few prospects, hopefully. I'll be able to help you lift and whatnot. I wonder if we could possibly set up the tavern, if space allows...

A few prospects as in new recruits?

as to the tavern... not sure if that would work, isn't that actually the display backdrop as well? Although, damnation, wouldn't that be a kick in the pants to bring the tavern to RF4!!

A few prospects as in new recruits?

That's just it, Captain.

I didn't realize the tavern pulled double duty. Maybe I should try to assemble my gaol by then...

"The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning."

Whoa... not that I wouldn't mind having the gaol... give me a place to take a nap during the event.. but we need to check with Cheeky as to space allowed.... although that and the tavern for use as the display would top last year's which was the best thing there...

Oi ye hear that Lill, just how much CAN we set up... would be great to see the gaol and tavern together in a dry run at RF 4...so we can work out any possible bugs for Blackbeards, PiP or whatever...

Last year's display is now the stage and table we used at Pike River...

The tavern with cellar can be used for everything including displays/ demos/ hiding gear and mundane possessions.

There are still tables that can attach for additional display and stability and if needed there were two large tables already there (the big black ones) for Video and such if needed.

This is the reason I built it in the demensions I used. Just so it wouldn't be "too big" if used for RF4.

We can then bring in a top beam and stabalized uprights an have the canvas over part of the top and have "unlit" lanterns and such....

It should look good.. Of coarse!

I've m' room already.

Just FINALLY started working on my new gown for the Ball saturday evening. It'll be a bleedin' miracle if I get it finished in time! I'm quilting the petticoat first then I'll be working on the stomacher. And inbetween it's sewing together the gown. It's going to be a sacque back in light blue silk.

Pray it gets done!

Is it EVEN possible?!

Well, I had all the intentions of doing a lecture this year, but I've been told that my lecture isn't needed at RF 4 due to the fact that we've over booked for the year...

Though I am sure that I am going to very, very busy doing other things that weekend, I should be happy. This is A GOOD THING!

I never thought this would be possible that so many people want to jump on the band wagon to help out and sign up for lectures, demos and the like.

Rule number one...One should not wait until the last moment to make inquires...it pays to book early...(something I should have done back in March or April)!

Oh well...perhaps next time!
