Jib Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I'm currently in Hong Kong and I spent a day at the famous Stanley market on HK island. I made it a point to check out the Maritime Museum after seeing it mentioned in Pirates Magazine. Great small FREE museum! Give it a look see if you are in the area!
Matusalem Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I shall do that next time I'm in Asia. I have stayed at the Royal Pacific Hotel, next to the Shenzhen ferry in Kowloon 4 times and have taken the boat over to HK. Where is the maritime museum in relation to the Hong Kong side?
capnwilliam Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks, but the closest I ever get to Hong Kong is my local Chinese restaurant! Capt. William "The fight's not over while there's a shot in the locker!"
HarborMaster Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I'll second Matusalem on this one., Please give a few details Jib., I will be looking for it in January 08. I am not Lost .,I am Exploring. "If you give a man a fire, he will be warm for a night, if you set a man on fire, he will be warm for the rest of his life!"
Red Cat Jenny Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Like it does in everything else, Hong Kong has an abundance of museums. Heres some info on the Maritime and others Hong Kong Maritime Museum Kumusta Harbor Master! Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
