Barbary Rose Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 My first influencewas watching Peter Pan, then reading the book. When Muppet Treasure Island came out I watched that over and over, and then piracy fell by the wayside as I took up other interests (mainly writing and reading of fantasy). I got back into pirates when I found a book called "Jade", I forget the author's name, but it was about the fictional character Jade who fell in with Anne Bonney, Mary Reed and Jack Rackham. I was hooked after that, and it only intensified when Pirates of the Carribbean came out. I have several writing projects underway at the moment, two involving pirates, and I hope one day to move to a place where they have pirate get togethers and festivals and the like. As of yet I am still marooned here in the desert, lol. Shiloh, the Barbary Rose

CaptainSatan Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 The Cowboy and Ninja things just weren't working out for me. As we say in Ireland let's drink until the alcohol in our system destroys our liver and kills us.
