Rogue Mermaid Posted December 27, 2007 Share Posted December 27, 2007 My book might be lost too. In her last post Jenny said she had sent my sketchbook to GoF. I just e-mailed him to see if he recieved it. If my book is lost, what should I do? I'm pretty sure Ransom was supposed to get it next. With the new system with Jenny out I will be sending books to Ransom, not GoF right? I will be the last one to get his book in the loop so when I get done with it (months down the road) I will mail it back to him? If my book is lost here is my suggestion: I create a new book ASAP and mail it to Ransom since she was supposed to get mine next. I won't have any illustrations from Jenny or GoF, but to make this whole process easier I'm ok with that. I currently have Eye's book. I'll e-mail his book's dimensions to GoF along with scans/photos from his book so he gets a feel for it. Then GoF can mail his pages to me. Then I'll put them in Eye's book and mail it to Ransom at the end of January. OR if GoF has a scanner, he can e-mail me scans of his sketches and I'll print them out and insert them in the books. On the high point it will save on mailing time, but we'll lose alittle of the effect of having the real sketch. What do you guys think? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GoF can be working on pages for both books, and can send the artwork directly to each of you when he's finished. You can just hold on to them until you get your books back, and add them in. That way you get the real stuff instead of a scan or photo copy, and it will still save GoF mailing money. As each book that should have gone to GoF comes round, he can do the work for that person, just as if he'd really received it, then mail the artwork to that person. No book gets held up while he's trying to catch up. Make sense? We just don't want to risk losing any more books. If Rogue Mermaid's book does show up at GoF's, then he can do the work in that one and mail it to me. After that, we go back to the revised order. I'll wait until toward the end of the month to do anything in Rogue Mermaid's new book, just in case her first one does show up. I can get two books done in a month, so send me Eye's if you're finished with it, do a few pages in your new one, then send it along as well. And you're right, from now on, send your books directly to me. I'll PM you my addy. At that point, I think we'll be back on track. I Ave' me own style of drawing and Modifing it all in Photo shop. So most of me work that Eye provide will be high Quality printed copies ( Wife Works at Kinkos) as I retain the originals.
