Rumba Rue Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 As soon as I saw this elsewhere, I ran to the closest Hallmark store and got the very last one on the shelf! They sell for $16.50, and the representation is very good, better than a lot of the toys out there. It's heavy so hanging it on a tree might not be feasible, mine is sitting on top of the computer screen.

Matty Bottles Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Methinks Hurricane means he does not care for the ornament, to such a degree that it makes him want to abandon the 'holiday' of Christmas all together. "The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning." - Capt. Joshua Slocum
Atala Syrcuse Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hallmark you say? I have a lovely collection of "jacks" from megablocks and one 18" doll I have yet to remove from his package. Drink Up Me Harties Yo Ho!
LadyBarbossa Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Tis a very good ornament. But... I'd prefer Hector. Or even Davy. Hell, give me BOTH! ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" "I'm completely innocent of whatever crime I've committed." The one, the only,... the infamous!
