pyrateleather
Saw a commercial for this one yesterday. There is a small blurb about it on the History International Website. Looks like it is an evening of pirate related programming on History International. Here is the lineup from what I can tell: Saturday July 7th (Times listed in Eastern/Pacific) Calico Jack 8-9 PM True Caribbean Pirates 9-11 PM History Traveler "Pirate Tech" 11 PM- 12 AM Sunday July 8th Calico Jack 12-1 AM True Caribbean Pirates 1-3 AM History Traveler "Pirate Tech" 3-4 AM http://www.PyrateTradingCompany.com
Tartan Jack
The show was OK. It was the "normal" stuff on John Rackham, but with historians doing the talking. Angus Konstam talked on it QUITE a bit. I didn't look to closely at the kit and ships (busy dealing with kids). Overall, NOT BAD! I'd watch it again gladly. -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina
Maggie Crowe
I was hugely disappointed to find out we don't GET History International, only the History Channel. I even had Tivo set up to record it, only to find 3 hours of black screen. Ah well, I guess I'll have to petition Netflix to offer the DVDs. Misson
You can petition NetFlix? How do you do that? Maggie Crowe
You can petition NetFlix? How do you do that? From the Netflix site, go to Contact Us, then down to Title Request. They already have The Great Ships: Pirate Ships available not only on DVD, but also for 'immediate viewing', and several of the Modern Marvels, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
