Capt. Lazarus Gage Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Now mind you this isn't specifically for my garb, it's something I want to wear every day. There are four rings I am deciding between, all of which I like and range in price from $50 to $150. They are as follows from cheapest to most expensive: Also note the last ring would be in sterling silver without the diamond. I am really stuck between them, any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Gage
Abrams Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 The first one looks mighty fine, Mister Gage. Outta curiosity, where're you finding these from? I've got the heart of a pirate, just not the garb...
Capt. Lazarus Gage Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 My wife likes that one the best also.....hmmm. The first and third rings are at: http://www.badalijewelry.com/pirate.htm The second ring is located at: http://www.celticjackalope.com/sterling_je..._roger_ring.php And the fourth would be at: http://www.martymagic.com/index.php
Mary Diamond Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Agreed, the first ring is my choice, as well! Subtle, and my favorite color ~ Oooh, shiny!
Patrick Hand Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This one isn't as fancy.... but I use to have one almost like it in pewter...... .... Sterling Silver Skull Ring .... (second one down...) Hey.... for only $19.95, I might have to get one again...... http://www.ilovewhimsy.com/fairy-store/jew...rings-skull.htm

Iron Bess Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 While I m'self would fancy the Sea Creature,,,, I think the first ring is the most striking. Wear it with honor AND tenacity lad!! Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!
Capt. Lazarus Gage Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 I decided on the second ring. I will probably end up getting the first ring also in the near future, but the second ring is massive and that's what I wanted. As soon as I get it I will post some pictures.

Capt. Lazarus Gage Posted June 30, 2007 Author Posted June 30, 2007 I just received my ring in the mail this morning and I have to say I am extremely happy with it. It is extremely well detailed and has the presence and heft I was looking for, kind of like a pirate class ring.

I had a frog and lily pad (gold - not the one pictured) ring but it was stolen when my apartment was broken into. I loved that ring. Most expensive piece of jewlery I ever owned I have that Octopuss ring from Marty's, in silver. The detail is fantastic. I really like it. Silkie, just come down to the Maryland Renn Faire. She's there. Find the hammer game, she's across the lane from Wolfstone Kilts. BluePuppy: The detail in those octopuss... is the detail in the ring... the suckers on the bottom of those are on the inside of the ring. Fantastic! Chaos, panic, pandemonium - my work here is done.
