Black coat is heavy black wool, lined in black silk and silver lace and silver embroidery on all the seams, Also silver bullion fringe on cuff opening...sleeve head still needs to be tackled... French open sleeve with falling cuff

I love the black and silver I never noticed the fringe till you pointed it out. And I love the brown as well..did you have patterns for these?

Can make one up for you.... from Waugh's Cut of Men's Clothes. In all honesty, the pagoda style sleeve on the brown coat is much easier to wear... the black and silver cuff is the dress coat for balls, etc. gets caught on everything!

scuttlebut...scuttlebut....so ok...it looks like i will be giong to this picky river thingy anyway....since it looks like i will be in town that wekend....and also promised to go to indiana....wifes not to happy about the whole back to back weekends thing......but i would most likely get her just as mad if not worse ifn i staid at home........ :huh:
