Hawkyns
So, me lady and I are getting ready for the raid on Key West. Since I've never been, let me just ask a couple of final questions. Is there any time or place that I'd need to pack regular clothes? Any places that restrict pirate kit or weapons? Is there a planned meeting place and time for all members of the Pub that are going? Also, asked this in another thread but got no answer. Is PiP as wild, crazy, and adult oriented as Fantasy Fest? Lookin' forward ta meetin' ya all. Hawkyns Cannon add dignity to what otherwise would be merely an ugly brawl I do what I do for my own reasons. I do not require anyone to follow me. I do not require society's approval for my actions or beliefs. if I am to be judged, let me be judged in the pure light of history, not the harsh glare of modern trends. hurricane
Pirates in Paradise isn't as crazy as Fantasy Fest - don't know if that's possible :). I don't think there's a plan for anyone on th boards here to meet up. Our group will be down there from Nov. 26th to Dec. 8th so you're bound to run into us as well as just about everyone else at the various events. We'll be billeted down at the Southernmost Hotel complex. As for clothing - shorts and t-shirts are great for off times or when you want to move through the town without posing for photos with cruise ship touristas. Hope that helps and see you down there! -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
