Much like many can't tell exotic sports cars apart ann call them ALL Ferraris. What got me was the sililarity in look, design, and many of the details. Of course Captian Blood was a significant inspiration (along with a number of classic pirate films) for POTC, that design similiarities are NOT surprising.
