Brit.Privateer Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Here is one of my favorites: I just realized that this may have been linked before. Still good though.
Lady Alyx Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I was perusing the web looking for Salsa dance pants and stumbled across these Pro Ballroom dancers..dancing to Pirates of the Carribean...wow...so cool...and you can even buy the outfits...... Dancer's Website...POTC dance if that link crashes... here it is straight from you tube and not the dancewear site.. ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
Tall Paul Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I wasn't sure what to make of this at first, but it is terribly cute, although the pink-haired Violet Beauregarde-wannabe gave me a good case of jibblies. And there's something about the captain's prosthetic face that I find extremely cool, probably because of the "pirate wonderland" feel it lends the whole thing.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLsJyfN0ICU (On a side note, does anyone know where this came from? It looks like a television special for the junior section.) And, for those utter romantics (though, like me, you may be a bit confused at the insinuated romance between Kevin Bishop and Keira Knightley): Video comes from "Lazy Town" and is shown on Nickjr. I enjoyed the POTC VS. LAZYTOWN MASHUP. If you enjoyed the Lazy Town song. and don't mind something a little bit PG rated, there is always this www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWnxsVcNL2wYou are a Pirate! RAUNCHYY!! It is the song from the original Icelandic version of the show, but subtitled with the Icelandic lyrics interpreted as English. (Just watch it and it will make sense.) Another favorite video on youtube is the title sequence from "The Pirate Movie" (1982) with the song VICTORY (Beastly pirates are we) set to a montage of pirate movie clips Unfortunately the sound quality in this clip is dreadful. But someone has attempted to reconstruct the title sequence, but without the titles, substituting alternative clips where they could not find the original. The sound quality is much better. Another Music video constructed from old movie clips which may be posted elsewhere on this forum, Cpt "Tall Paul" Adams Colchester Historical Enactment Society (C.H.E.S.)

The graphics have been done by two people from the game and they comprise the characters involved, at that moment, in romance threads or merely flirting.
