For the You Tube addicts among us, I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can post any pirate-related videos that we find.

Here's a charming one to start with -- a POTC fan vid, to the song "Dancing in the Moonlight":

Good song, but I think Mary Read and Anne Bonney would disagree

here is a link to a somewhat humorus but very silly series of short skits. the links is to the first episode there are 24 in all. My favorite is #16 and I like #3 pretty good too.

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

Okay, yeah, I know I just posted this one on the WAG thread, but it's so brilliant it deserves further distribution.

David Bowie in 1974, performing "Rebel, Rebel" in full-on pirate-glam attire, complete with eyepatch:

A fairly tame version of the song "Barnacle Bill the Sailor" as part of an embryonic Betty Boop cartoon:

Hmmm... a flapper, a sailor, a naughty sea shanty, & mermaids as chorus girls... how could I resist?

I wasn't sure what to make of this at first, but it is terribly cute, although the pink-haired Violet Beauregarde-wannabe gave me a good case of jibblies. And there's something about the captain's prosthetic face that I find extremely cool, probably because of the "pirate wonderland" feel it lends the whole thing.

(On a side note, does anyone know where this came from? It looks like a television special for the junior section.)

And, for those utter romantics (though, like me, you may be a bit confused at the insinuated romance between Kevin Bishop and Keira Knightley):

Video comes from "Lazy Town" and is shown on Nickjr. I enjoyed the POTC VS. LAZYTOWN MASHUP.
