TalesOfTheSevenSeas
I wanted to share this bed with you guys that is currently up for grabs on Ebay. These are sooooooooo cool! What I wouldn't give to have one of these babies- It is a bed with the posts carved in the shape of full-size upright cannons! This one is a beauty... over 200 years old and absolutely stunning. Damn, there are times I wish I had a treasure chest full o' gold dubloons!! Wow... Quick...tie me to the yardarm, to keep me out of the home improvement store. Did ye note that it took two people to hold the headboard up? Unless one of thems got four feet. Captain of The Morrighan. TalesOfTheSevenSeas
Tie ye' to the yardarm Ryann? By th' looks o' that bed, I should think ye' would rather be tied to the cannon!!! -Claire "Poison Quill" Warren Pyrate Mum of Tales of the Seven Seas www.talesofthesevenseas.com
RyannMacGregor
Aye a lass of the same deliciously wicked mind. I could just see meself lost at the store eyein' those pre-made columns and turning them into a large version of that bed. A full size bed just won't do. Captain of The Morrighan. Deacon Frye
An interesting find. I'm no antique furniture expert, but this doesn't really have an 18th-century "feel" to me.
Captian Wolfy Wench
What an odd piece of furniture, but nonetheless stunning! I'd love a tasteful bed like tha'. The winner is very lucky. Captain Wolfy Wench
TalesOfTheSevenSeas
I dunno if it's 100 years old or 200, but man... that bed, in my humble opinion is one of the most stunning and tasteful beds I've ever seen. Wish I had a thousand bucks or so sitting around in a cookie jar someplace! -Claire "Poison Quill" Warren Pyrate Mum of Tales of the Seven Seas www.talesofthesevenseas.com
