William Brand Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 With the pub chat temporarily out of service, the crew of the Watch Dog would like to offer an alternative chat room as a service to all Pub members. Please feel free to drop by anytime and discuss the scuttlebutt of all things pyrate. The Scuttlebutt You may experience different results with different browsers, so try more than one if you have difficulties. Safari works well. Be certain that you have Java enabled with whatever browser you choose.
Black Nate Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 when will the pub chat be working again? ~Black Nate~ A ship in a puddle is better than no ship at all Dear Saint Brendan, to mention your name is to recall much travelling. It was in relation to voyages that you emerged as a popular Saint. The Irish became great travelers thus spreading their faith everywhere. Protect not only mariners but also all those who go down to the sea in ships. Amen.
Rumba Rue Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 ...i think it's been permanetly lost in the Temple of Doom....
Black Syren Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Thinks this fyne gift should be stickied.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
Black Nate Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Aye making this a sticky would be good. You say the pub's chat is totally messed up and won't be back, ever? Maybe the link should be taken down then. Amen.
William Brand Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 If the Pub management would like to sticky it they may. I'll leave the Scuttlebutt chat up as long as they would like to use it. Management could also create their own Live Harmony account and relink it to the chat button or link Scuttlebutt to the chat button. It's too bad the former chat had so many issues. It was a fairly interactive system.
Black Nate Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Aye! Come on Pub Management! Amen.
Black Syren Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 anyone in chat? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
William Brand Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 I try to frequent it as often as possible for the sake of being available to newcomers and old alike. Since I work on the computer all day, this is very convenient for me. Still, I imagine most people meet by way of yahoo or MSN, but it doesn't hurt to have a private, pirate corner on the net.
Silkie McDonough Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Okay ...come visit us! Come in, make a noise (AKA choose a sound) say hello and wait a bit ...someone will respond.
Black Syren Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I was in and got tossed overboard, locked up me whole computer..though my phone lines are still acting up I think...Will try it again.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
Lady Alyx Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Here is a chat room that always works and is easy to get in and there is hardly anyone there, cept a couple of kids from time to time. PirateFairechat The other link didnt do anything. ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
Black Syren Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Hmm Lady Alyx I saw you in, I do not have trouble getting in unless my phone lines are acting up as they have been because of all the flooding. As for that other link, I have used it and there are lots of kids in there because Parlay has it up for their members to use. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)
Lady Alyx Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Yes but if the kids are not there it usually is empty and then there are the other rooms that no one ever uses. The kids use the lobby and talk dizzy Disney stuff. ~~~~Sailing Westward Bound~~~~ Lady Alyx
William Brand Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 I'm surprised by the sheer number of people who stopped by yesterday. New and old.
Black Syren Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Bumping back to the top so tis easier to find... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't)

Black Nate Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 So, I'm not the only one. It's been a ghost town every time I stop in. What's the ward wardroom? ~Black Nate~ A ship in a puddle is better than no ship at all Dear Saint Brendan, to mention your name is to recall much travelling. It was in relation to voyages that you emerged as a popular Saint. The Irish became great travelers thus spreading their faith everywhere. William Brand Posted August 18, 2007 Author Posted August 18, 2007 The Ward Room is a similar chat that we use to discuss our lives on and off the Watch Dog. We are there more often than the Scuttlebutt, and when I say there, I mean all of the time.
Dorian Lasseter Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 As in right now... Truly, D. Lasseter Captain, The Lucy Propria Virtute Audax --- In Hoc Signo Vinces Ni Feidir An Dubh A Chur Ina Bhan Air "If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me."
