The secret key to using a Shakespeare quote to "swear" is to do it often enough that the phrase gets really comfortable for you. I have one that I use as part of my normal vocabulary. It doesn't feel so contrived that way. Plus it always gets a funny look & shuts people up "If part of the goods be plundered by a pirate the proprietor or shipmaster is not entitled to any contribution." Yours, Mike Try these for starters- "A General History of the Pyrates" edited by Manuel Schonhorn, "Captured by Pirates" by John Richard Stephens, and "The Buccaneers of America" by Alexander Exquemelin.
