Black Hearted Pearl Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Porn DVD screams prompt sword 'rescue' ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails.
CrazyCholeBlack Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 that's so, very Wisconsin "If part of the goods be plundered by a pirate the proprietor or shipmaster is not entitled to any contribution." JohnnyTarr Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 It would have been better if there was really a woman up there. Could you imagine that one. Even better if they were role playing. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
Captain Jim Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 A couple of things here: 1. Always call the police first! Don’t have a phone? Find one! Then you have a record of your "good faith" intensions. Also, the police will talk you out of doing anything rash (read “stupid”.) 2. You know it wasn’t on of us because he used a cavalry sword. We all own proper cutlasses. Also, he kicked down the door instead of opening it with his boarding axe. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...

Also, he kicked down the door instead of opening it with his boarding axe. You forgot.... As well as one of us would have yelled "Prepared to be boarded!" ~Black Hearted Pearl The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails.
Caraccioli Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 "I had the sword extended. But that was all," he said. What a thing to say in an article about a porn video. "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Lady Seahawke Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 hey, I will give the guy credit that he willing to get involved and come to the aid of someone he thought was in trouble. How many times have there been an incident where "haven't heard or seen anything" when someone was being accosted. and no one tried to do anything. If something had been going on...everyone would be cheering him as a hero...ok, thankfully, it was just a film and not anything else...but at least the guy was willing to come to the aid of another and not just sit by saying it wasn't his business. I raise a glass to the gent for his good intentions. Lady Cassandra Seahawke Captain of SIREN'S RESURRECTION, Her fleet JAGUAR'S SPIRIT, ROARING LION , SEA WITCH AND RED VIXEN For she, her captains and their crews are.... ...Amazon by Blood... ...... Warrior by Nature...... ............Pirate by Trade............ If'n ye hear ta Trill ye sure to know tat yer end be near...
Patrick Hand Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I will give the guy credit that he willing to get involved and come to the aid of someone he thought was in trouble. Comon sence would sujest, letting the guy off with some public service, and a warning........ Unfortunately, the Judge will probably "throw the Book" at him..... somehow, good intentions or trying to help other people never gets rewarded.... Capt. Jim's comment does make a lot of sence tho......... 1. Always call the police first! Don’t have a phone? Find one! Then you have a record of your "good faith" intensions. Also, the police will talk you out of doing anything rash (read “stupid”.)

Captain Jim Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Oh, I give the guy credit for involvement. But I have to take away points for bad judgment. The decision to use (or threaten to use) deadly force should be a final choice, taken only after all other options have been exhausted. That will have to be his defense in court, that any reasonable person would have thought the same as he. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
JohnnyTarr Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 If he just would have gone without the sword. Then it might not even have made the news. Git up of your asses, set up those glasses I'm drinking this place dry.
CaptainSatan Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I was once entertaining a stunt actress that I use to be involved with and when my neighbours dialled 911.It didn't help that she was still tied to bed when the police knocked on my door. -CS As we say in Ireland let's drink until the alcohol in our system destroys our liver and kills us.
Patrick Hand Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 CaptainSatan, WOW.... I'd love to see the vidios of that one..... Purely for scientific reasons of course....... Bet it was very embarrising at the time.... but makes a funny story now....
Matusalem Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Some more crossing blades with..... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070302/ap_on_...f_sword_fight_1
Bartholomew Roberts Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 As funny as this is, I do feel sorry for the guy. I agree that he should definitely get off easy because he was willing to help. Most people would just sit there and say, "Someone else will take care of it." I think we should all drink to this man.
