    Are there any GAOP events that are concerned about portraying pirates / sailors / townspeople historically accurate as possible? Searle's comes to mind, but it's just out of the GAOP - barely....

      Hampton blackbeard on the reenactors side. the entertainment and street visitors dress all asort skew the public image though.

    Tis a shame that this board has gone PC for all the east coasters. Notice how most of the west has left?

      seems more folks are heading to facebook or other social network sites and communicating between thier comfort groups there. I actually see it across the spectrum of posters. not just east vs west. but, yes over all there is a decline in general chatter , leaving fewer active threads, which are indeed historical in nature. i'd say nature of the beast rather than anything else
