I want to thank you all, very much, for the birthday wishes. As Ransom said, it will be a quiet evening at home. Hard to party like a pirate when ye got to get up at 4 AM the next morning.

I would like to thank PEW for the Secret Santa gift of a copy of Mutiny on the Bounty. It came on Monday. I knew it was going to be late, as my Secret Santa informed my other half that it would be, so I wasn't worried.

I would also like to know if Fayma received her Secret Santa gift. As it was mailed on Dec. 15th

Thank you to all of my pyrate friends for the Happy Birthday wishes. And yes, I will try to learn how to type. And yes, Ransom is typing this for me at the moment because if I did it, I would be 52 by the time I was done!.

Chain Shot and I just watched Donovan's Reef last night, and I was wondering which ship that was. Chain Shot got it right then, because he guessed it was owned by Ford.

Don't feel too bad about not appreciating the ship. Chain Shot got a chance to go on John Wayne's boat when it was moored at Newport, CA. And yes, John Wayne would have been on board. He turned the offer down. Regrets that decision to this day.

Oh I don't feel too bad about it.. I was too busy being sea sick.

And The Wild Goose was an amazing ship. A converted Mine Sweeper.

Now, Bess, I'm not THAT bad. I was, and still am a very big John Wayne fan. But, I was driving cross-country at that time as a truck driver, and when I was in town, he was just recovering from his valve transplant. I didn't want to disturb him. Just trying to be a nice guy. So that is why I missed out. And yeah, I still regret it to this day!

Thanks to all my friends for wishing me a happy birthday! And a special thanks to the one I love, who made it a very special day...even without rum!

Thank you Secret Santa, for the glass flask netted in hemp (?). It also has a woven hemp handle. Can't wait to show it off at the next event, filled with a little Pyrate Pistol rum. I'll drink your health!
