M.A.d'Dogge Where'd ye get it? It got suggested to me to avoid all this garbage with airports, TSA and fear of theft, is to go to my local gun shop and have them Fed-Ex my guns to a gun shop at or near my destination...They have a license to ship weapons.. went thru Cabellas.....gun case brand is "FLIGHT PROOF"....really nice case....wheels and everything.....had to get the "BLACK POWDER " version to accomodate me long gun tho problem being it is allresdy 40lbs empty...by the time me gun ,,,a pistol or two...and me cutlass goes inside...over the weight limit and have to pay extra...50 to 70 bucks extra!?!!
-
i have yet to have any real issues...usually fly withthem in a large(really large) duffle bag....with a lock....also have a tsa approved "flight proof" gun case...extra llong to accomodate me longgun....but its more the problem of weight restrictions and having to pay extra...than what i gots inside em!?!?! flew to Baltimore...form Detroit.....had me duffle full of flintlocks and swords....also had to wear me tricorn hat an coat to save room in me bags.....declareed to the lady behind the desk....as to the contents....."i have a bunch of flintlock pistols and swords in there".....she asked...without looking up... "what, are you a pirate".....then she looked up...her mouth dropped oppen...as i replied..."why yes i am, as a matter of fact" then had to take it over in line for the x-ray conveyor......guard grabbed me bag without lookin at me..he oooffed at the weight of it....asked me what was so heavey..... "flintlock guns and swords...a bunch of em" "what, are you a pirate?"....then he looked up at me.....mouth dropped agin......"i guess you are!!" went thru the x-ray....guard watchin the screen....backed it up...went thru again...backed it up...went thru again...backed it up...went thru again...... "what the hell are theses??" "flintlock guns and swords...a bunch of them!"...replioed the first guard....."holy crap...is this guy a pirate or what?".... "why...YES...he is!"....replied the first guard.....then i see a bunch of guards lookin over the conveyor...spyin me in me Tricorne hat, Coat, period shoes....i just smiled and shrugged by this time quite a line had gathered behind me.....then the looks started so....other than the looks....which are a bit common.....i usually mention that they are "replicas"...or antigues"....and they dont usually seem to care!??

i beleive Chole has the gist of it....this transition period...without a significant war....is what lead to the Buccaneers and Pyrate era.....now we could furthur split hairs...and say...pre-GAoP...post Buccaneers....Silver Age of Pyracy...the Bronze Age of Buccaneers...but that would just be nit-pickin there were so many inovations and overlaps durring this transition period.....it would become muddier even more than it allready is if they were to be pinned down furthur!?!?

Firearm Owners Identification card....F.O.I.D. have to have one in Illinios to buy or sell or posses a firearm or ammo....but blackpowder weapons dont have to be registered here in Michigan, no card....just a permit if its concealed...try that with me fishtail!!?!?!.....otherwise if an antiguw or repro blackpowder...no register last time went to Canaidia....as long as it was a (historical) sword or blackpowder weapon....they didnt consider them a real wepon...just couldnt cross with the black powder tho interestingly enough they do consider a Katana a real wepaon...to many problems i suppose as long as all weapons are locked and checked....i have yet had any issues....lots of looks....no issues......i have a TSA approved gun box....long enough fer me longgun.....the box itsaelf is 40lbs...dont take much before i am over the 50lbs limit....and my swords are usaully in a big duffle bag....as long as the handlers cant be stabbed...the pass muster

Are you putting sugar in the grinder? That's for coffee! I have not seen the piece in question before. I am familiar with sweet Turkish coffee. The sugar, however, is boiled with the coffee in the pot and not added to the serving cup. sweet Turkish coffee??...yeah...its called Greek Coffee..... (greek wif is laughin and rollin on floor...better git some cofee quick)

Yes, I did know that much. That is why Brig as Oola and Mae as Leia Slave would go together. (Brig, if you didn't have blonde hair, you could be Leia, but alas...) Although Oola was already digesting when Leia was essentially picked to take her place. Still, Star Wars fans everywhere would love it. If you put it on You Tube, imagine all the joy you would bring to the guys who live in their parent's basements the world over. Wait, what? I'm rancor bait now??! Fine, but to keep things even, Mae has to be tied to Jabba for at least a week! Thank you, hunni! ok.ok.ok.....i volunteer to be Jabba....since me belly seems to be keepin up wit the preggo wif anyhow.... and i been workin on knots!!!....it might take ya a week to git untied!!!....(Muhahaha)

we looked again...and no Arab recipe calls for sugar....so doubt highly its a suger shaker... still high money on cardamon shaker....tho why shake it??
-
i was just informed that the arabs perfer cardamon , ginger and saffron in some of their older recipes...cardamon being the most widelyused.... possibly for cardamon....tho more i am thinin on it...doubt was for sugar....all the greeks are yelling at me ...they INVENTED the adding of sugar..... thanks....hope Gracies havin a nice Burthinday...thanks to her...i am now getting yelled at in me own home..... again...thanks Happy Burthinday....
-
now our first thought was that was wear ya stored the coffe...after ya ground it....but a spoon seems the norm instead of a shaker.....still askin around

does the grinder "powder" the beans??...been having trouble finding one that would pulverise it fine enough for "greek" coffee (sorry...wife is greek...its ALL greek coffee to her!!)
