some of the most memorable events happend because of the rain..... tho...i think i am hesitant also.....with the whole "council of pyrate lords" ...monicur as well....speacially considering the midwest groupos that i am aware of have vastly different ....agendas some vie for ultra "authenticity"....while others ultra "fantasy"...most some where in between.....not sure i can see a common goal out of such...an endeavor....unless it was too only get more of a who's who list...more a of database....to call on for new events.

what was interestin about it...was that it was sawed off from both ends!! the entire but was sawed off(still showin rough cuts) to a more of a pistol grip....as well as the barrel to only 2' or so

worked the whydah excibit in chicago....they still have many "rust-rocks" toopen yet....many of these (thru x-rays) do show several more pistols and in the exhibit...a SAWED OFF musket was recovered.....

me brother and i...having the weekend playin in the riggin....with me high heeled period shoes(from loyalist)...me opinions of wearin shoes on deck..... the gang plank got wet and SLICK...with the leather soles...actually needed the runners and heel to slow me down.... but in the riggin.....that high heel worked perfectly as in a stirrup....held me foot in place....no fear of slippage.....tried it barefoot....no archsupport. but then again on the spars....back to slick again....tho most likely would have been back on a rope...so back to usin shoes again.... my personal view.....is might have been job specific....to who wore shoes on board as some(tending on the duty) may have not.

when i last got stopped by a state trooper on the way to an event....had something to do with the human sized dufflebag...with a long wig hanging outta it...a gun box....and a shovel....hehe ..... was told couldn't travel (in a car) with more than 7pounds of black powder...(only in michigan??)....i am not sure what the amount is for private home storage is tho??

or.... ...ya could just take it out back....and shoot it!??!.... ...no really...it works...but gotta be from a nearly point blank range to get powder burns(anything 10 - 20 fett away burns are't as substantial or noticable) of course i feel obliged to mention...dont be wearrin the coat at the time...

Another method (and another shameless plug here), is the Dead Man's Chest Auction, while this type of donation would likely not be tax deductable, you do get a goodie out of it... There are a few items that do not have bids, bidding $5 or $10 on one of those items is a donation to the ship, and if you don't like the item, you can use it as a "re-gift" item or a paper weight... i keep trying to make a donation...but everyone keeps outbidding me!!!....sheeesh
