happy burthinday !!!

thats the thing...noooone saw the damn things...i was woken outta a drunken stupour...errr..ahem...a very deep sleep....4 am..ish.....severe burning sensation to my neck and clavicle area...swelled up like a son of a gun....acted like a severe burn...skin turned dark brown...and now a week later...finally fluffed off...leaving a scar and new skin underneath.... several people woke up to em....various locations....but seemed like i might have gotten the worst of em and just so ya know ...Callenish...i never even made it to Duval street(either end)..... tho Mr. Cross did have a habit of sneaking into my Lean-to in the wee hours of the night.... Rangers at the Fort said...was either a spider...fluffy catipillar...or scorpian....so i am tellin everyone scorpian....sounds better to be throttled by a scorpian...than half eaten by a fluffy catipillar...

you forgot the fangs...where are the fangs!?!?

to hear the infamous Mr. Patrick Hand....call you "an equal"...and that "we're cut from the same clothe".... course we were both 30 sheets towards the wind...and lookin for one of our pants at the time....

seing the faces of tourists slowly go by...as 4 of us pyrates were trying to Hang MR.Cross in Mallory Square noone stopped...just slowed way down...kinda afraid to look...

rule of thumb...if your goinna bang with them...by 2 usually...like minded blades will last longer than mixing up blaeds....for example....starfire vs starfire....paul chen vs paul chen....and the like otherwise expect dings in the lighter swords(even when pulled blows and choreographed)....just used Sterlings NEW sword up against my Starfire...dinged the Captains blade...not bad..close in weight...but will have to get another like the Captains so either get your partner(if doing stage) to agree on a maker....or by 2...(like i do) to share...all the blades will last longer that way... my 2 cents worth

FB....to be called a ...FB..one has to be first called a ....F@#$kING Bastard....by your peers....this is a title only given to the newly re-enactors...who have ...well showed up and showed up all the other old tymer re-enactors...so much so that it draws a organic...and heart felt honest response of...F@#!king Bastard...usually under the breath and aimed at your back as you pass by. one can only be given this title...from those who have endevered over the years...to do research...and have spent many a year of back breaking intensive work to complete their KIT, CAMP, IMPRESIONS or KNOWLEDGE....just to have the wind taken out of their sails by some new upstart who shows up for the first time...and blows everyone away by their skills.... hence the ...F@!#king Bastard mutters from behind.... Some Recent Inductees have been.... Jack Roberts...for showing up at PiP...his first re-enactment...with a full hand sewn Kit...handsewn Tent...married to hot twins....and could play a flower pot like it was a friggan 20 peice brass band!!! i dont remember last years...i was still pissed off at Jack from the year before.... tho Jack was not the first...I my self had the title bestowed on me some 20 years ago now...as well as a long list of others on this pub.... i personally heard more utterances of ...FB...aimed toward Shay of the Keys...for sheer gun envey...(i myself bespoke tho words numerous times) then i heard mentioned aimed towards Mr.Cross....course that could be for the sheer reason of still thinking they would get into trouble for selling him on the auction block and a subsequent public hanging of his corpse at Mallory Square....

i was timed...how long i could hold up her musket to my shoulder....1 minute 3 sec...and my shoulder is still out....tho later Matty Bottles does presently hold the record...at 1 minute 32 sec many a man was embarrassed to say...they couldnt pick it up level the first try...until Miss Shay showed em how!!! damn pretty gun
