I am looking for a book, well actually a series of books, based on pirates that I read when I was younger.
In the books, a young child somehow found a way into a fantasy land full of pirates. He was told of the world by his grandfather, and then, in the last book, he found his grandfather in the fantasy world but eventually returned to the real world.
I have a vague recollection that one of the ships was called 'The Golden Dragon' but that could be wrong.
I read these books whilst age 9, in the early 90s. I have no real idea when they were published, but I would think sometime after the 1950s.
I'm sorry if all of the above sounds rather vague but my recollection of the books isn't too good.
