Being left to her own affairs, Mistress Lilly kept an eye on Mate and on the docks outside. Mistress Lilly had an uneasy feeling come over her the moment Hamish’s first mate showed up. She knew that something was amiss. Nervous anticipation grew worse when she heard a pistol shot and the sounds of a ruckus in the street. Lilly quickly let her safe haven and with the little black dog in tow, ventured out into the street. It was obviously apparent that there was some sort of a commotion at the Royal Grace. Mate suddenly barked and howled at Lilly moved closer for a look. “Hush you!” She shouted at the little dog as she continued further to take a closer look. There in the dim light Lilly witnessed the red coats pull at man from the inn and take him away.

As the Scottish Captain took another drink from the bar, Mistress Lilly drew her attentions back over to the docks. “Do you think Reiley has forgotten about us?” Hamish shook his head, “No, I think he is waiting to receive audience with the Captain.” Mistress Lilly pursed her lips in anticipation. “Do you think they will let me sail with them?” Hamish’s eyebrows raised a bit. “I do not see why they shouldn’t…that’s unless there is something in your past that you and the Captain have not settled.” Mistress Lilly looked over at Hamish. “I have told him everything.” She said with a demanding tone. “Everything, but I love him.”

^ A warm fall afternoon, just around sun set with the sweet smell of cider in my mug as I sit on my porch and take it all in! > Gee Chapman, my father experienced one of those deja vu feelings back in the late 1950s. He was on his way to CA to do a Air Force Promo, when he and several other enlisted men got lost in a town in OH. As they pulled into town looking for a place to stop and spend the night, it was my father who said, "Go up and take a left by the church. I think there is a Inn there." Sure enough there way. The date on the Inn was 1843! When asked by his buddies how he knew this. He shrugged his shoulders. Creepy. v Favorite thing to wear?

In my constant pursuit of trying to establish why I would need or want such a thing, I have always coveted a hand-held crossbow. Yes, I know that they are ‘too late’ to be used in the GAoP, but I WANT one. I do not think they are legal where I live, but I have had the chance to use one several years ago. I was hooked after I heard the first “THWACK” of the arrow hit the target. Now, I either have to change my character, change my time period to play in (which isn’t likely) or just give up on the shiny little toy. (SIGH)…

^ I went out west to Virginia City, NV for Halloween one year! The whole town was turned into a Haunted Tour. Dearest Lady B, Please note that good Captain Sterling has stated in previous post that matters have been discussed with the lovely Mistress Kim M. and we are moving forward on each of our behaves. To those who are part of the large scheme, to those who are the movers and shakers in the making and promoting such an event. This is NO SMALL TASK! The Archangel Crew has several members who have been on that side of the fence many a time. There is a tremendous amount of work involved and we do respect every single one of you who has put forth those long hours to make this event come into fruition. We look forward to a grand time of it!

I've only been to several showers in my life (both Baby and Wedding) I can tell you they were not what I expected. Even my own wedding shower was 'luke warm', and I am not afraid to admit it. There was only one baby shower that I attended within the last five years that I really enjoyed. The Mom to be was really cool...and so was her family. So my over response to showers in general....No thanks, I'll send a gift.
