  6. Uh... no...Dutch offered to fix it, that's why it went home from Pip in the first place and not in the trash...or something like that... and now I know you got your story messed up, because I would never say such a thing because I am the only one that actually cleans the rust off of the armor...
  7. For them with short memories.. ye took it home from Pip in order to fix it... or might that have been Cousin Robbie??
  8. Ah Willie ye shall be sorely missed...
  9. Aye, Cap'n Sterling, Aye, might I presume that ye mayhaps be feelin' of good health once again. It's that I be a'hopin', sez I. As I writes this I be in snug harbor just south o' St. Augustine. On the Morrow, for the south'rd.

  10. Do bring a copy as I would like to see mine and haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet. I promise...ahem...to give it back.
  11. Fishing?? Now that could make an enjoyable demo...
  12. Callenish, if I hear any more talk about butt paste, I'm leaving em ALL on the other end of Duval Street ..... of course it would help if I knew where Duval Street was....
  13. Sorry cannot possibly tie him to the roof...he has to take his turn at the wheel, so I can get some sleep... but if I need to keep him in line, I shall assign him the duty of answering the snotties persistent questions...."ARE WE THERE YET? HOW MUCH LONGER? WE'RE HUNGRY CAN WE STOP AND GET SOMETHING TO EAT??? WHY DOES MISS GRACE SAY DUTCH DRIVES LIKE AN OLD LADY???"
  14. Capt. Sterling, Tis meself, Dutch. I wuz jus hopin that ye be feelin a might better'n ye wuz and git'n ready fer a haul! I hopes not ta be missen ye, sez I!

  15. Be afraid... be VERY afraid....**heh, heh, heh**
  16. Actually it seems green was the rage during the 1660s-70s(a time frame, the crewe is not doing as far as pyracy goes)... Kass has stated some where in Twill that shades of indigo were more in keeping with our time frame...
  17. **Whack** do I have to put ye on a leash too, like Dogge?? Like I would ever wear such a colour combination....sheesh...
  18. Most assuredly agree, but sure has opened a door to want to start looking for any extant 17th/18th century evidence those pictures are based on...
  19. Unfortunately the Hide will not be doing any of its own cooking this year... no cooks are attending this year that provide all the wonderful help last year.
  20. Mooseworth... presenting is simply just doing your demo for the public...hopefully there will be some sort of schedule for when the demos will be going on. Last year, they tried for the first time to arrange tour guides that would collect spectators from the Fort and bring them on into the camps...some folks (Dutch taught on Navigation, Mission taught on surgeon's items, Cheeky and I taught on mourning/funeral customs of the time for example) were available in the camps to talk to the folks on the tour...I would expect things to operate along similar lines this year. Basically last year, the tour guides, who volunteered at the spur of the moment and did an excellent job of it, introduced each group that was doing a demo and then folks just launched into what they were teaching.
  21. Flea bitten??? Hmmm reckon tis time for a fresh bit of lard...
  22. Non, aucun problème, juste un intéressant trouve. Il est agréable de voir autre chose.
