Depending on whether yer lookin' for funny shanties, or serious ones, listen to The Bilge Pumps. They are great. I personally like The Dark Lady, or The Smuggler's Song. The Smuggler's Song, by the way, was written by Rudyard Kipling.

Aye, me thinks the Floggin Mollys are pretty good. If'n ye be lookin fer some good sea shanties, I'd be givin' the Bilge Pumps a try. They be pretty good. Got their own website (look for The Bilge Pumps), and have several CDs. They're out of Texas, and do a lot o' ren faires in the Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana, etc areas. They've even been known to head out Florida way. Believe they went to the west coast once as well. Great music.

Went to Scarby one weekend last year, rained, but still had a good time. Unfortunately, can't go this year. I'm contracted for the whole month of May in Muskogee. So, have a pint for me.

Had a great time at Java Dave's in Edmond promonti' Scarlett's Mid-Winter Faire in Oklahoma City later this month. It was great meeting Blackfoot and his lady. They've got an awsome Indian. It looks great and sounds awesome. Looking forward to seeing them again in OKC. Scarlett's is gonna be terrific this year. So much great entertainment. Looking forward to seeing the Bilge Pump's again. Nothin' says piratin' like the Bilge Pumps. See ya next week for rehersal.

Got a lot of pirates in the Oklahoma/Texas area. Would be great to have a class for us as well. I, personally, would like to learn how to use a belaying pin as a weapon.

Ahoy, I be new ta this here pub, and was readin about this here plan ya got going. Count me in as soon as I can plunder the funds. My vote would be fer April, although as me Cap'ns takin classes, I'd be votin fer spring break. I'd like June, but we don't want to get caught in one of them hurricanes. May is pretty busy around my port, but if May it be, I'll try making arrangements. Ta walk in the boot prints of them that came afore us, ah would be emotional indeed. Do ya need passports in Jamaica? Never been out of the states, so don't have a clue. Been thinkin about gettin one just in case.
